Brewers vs. Cardinals in St. Louis with Foley

We were at the bar until damn near bar close, then took a cab back to the hotel. After the drive in this morning, the Brewers improbable victory and a fun night at the bar we were all tuckered out. With tomorrow being a day game with a 1:05 start, I  needed to get a little bit of rest if I was going to properly cheer on my Milwaukee Brewers. Even though they really didn't have anything to play for, in my mind they were playing for pride and to show St. Louis that even though they were down, they were not necessarily out. I previously showed you the Bye Son! sign in the elevator, but on the opposite side was this one that said chill out. The picture on it was witty or clever, so I jumped in to replace it. Why would The Iceman need to chill out? He's already cool under pressure and cold as ice. That doesn't make sense.

After the game we went to hang out at this bar Paddy O's that was right next to the stadium. As expected there were plenty of Cardinals fans there but I was surprised to see a lot of Brewers fans hanging out there. A lot of people made the trip down here for this series, and so far we were all out celebrating because it started off with a bang. I've been to many road games, and it's always so much more fun when the Brewers win so that you can high five every Brewers fan you see. I was drinking a celebratory PBR and hanging with Foley. Could it get any better?

Despite being the first week of October, it still was seasonably warm outside. Paddy O's has an outside bar area that is open during Cardinals home games, so we hung out and drank some beers. There was DJ spinning club hits and a makeshift dancefloor underneath the tent which also featured a large bar and flat panel TV's. This worked to my advantage because I got to watch some St. Louis hotties shaking it while watching the Brewers highlights. And with a PBR tall boy in hand and 2 good friends at my side, nothing could be better after the win tonight.
