They couldn't help it because they were confronted with something that was very new to them, and their best option was to stare. I even go so far as to single out someone on camera who gave me
looks. It's their fault, they had it coming to them. I do one innocent thing and everyone points and stares. Haven't they ever
seen pirate before? You'd figure in a post-Pirates of the Caribbean World that people would be familiar with this stuff by now...
