Matt Salmon was a real trooper. Although his team failed to make the playoffs, he was still in attendance for the final day with his head held high and came ready to support his friends.

Cara was probably contractually obliged to appear before the cameras to demonstrate the game of beer pong if she wanted an extra 15 minutes of fame. She originally rose to fame as a contestant on the 2003 season of Road Rules South Pacific. That led to her appearance as Miss November in the 2004 magazine.

Beer pong is a team game, so she asked for someone to play with her. Every man's arm shot up, but Casey Riley was the tallest and brightest person who was actually paying attention to what was going on. He immediately accepted her proposal and instantly became the luckiest man in the room, if not the luckiest man in Mesquite Nevada. I don't care if someone hit the jackpot on a slot machine at this moment, I'd still rather be Casey Reilly than that person.

Cara didn't really know how to play, so Casey, Billy and Duncan had a lot of work to do. Luckily, as most beginners do with this drinking game, she caught on easily. Turns out that she has natural talent for both drinking and throwing ping pong balls into cups.

If Aaron looks a little disheveled in this picture it's because he had been awake for over 24 hours and he spent the entire night drinking and gambling at the Blackjack table. With nothing to play for on the final day, he played blackjack to win his WSoBP entry fee back.

Round one of the playoffs began, and Fresno and I found ourselves with familiar company. We struggled mightily in our first game against the 29th seeded team the Baltimore Solo Sinkers, and almost lost, but we pulled through. Our next game would be our toughest game yet.

This will easily be the game that will haunt me for the rest of my beer pong career, and I will always regret the outcome. Because of the way the teams were seeded, and since both TYGB and CHBPL won their 1st round matches, we had to play each other. Since I knew that I was better than both Casey and Lorge, I played with little to no intensity, and I was too at ease to make clutch shots. The game progressed pretty evenly, and it eventually came down to a 1 - 1 game, which is where all the drama and regrets come into play.

When the game came down to 1 -1, Fresno hit the kill shot to end the game BUT they allowed rebuttals in the playoffs. No one including Billy and Duncan were familiar with the rules that they themselves wrote, explaining that "we were drunk when we made the rules." Casey and Lorge ended up winning this game on rebuttals shots, and we took our first loss and a step into the losers bracket. We argued with Billy and Duncan about how the rebuttals were to take place, most notably how many shots a team gets following the kill shot. No one was really clear on the outcome of this game, but Casey and Lorge were awarded the victory and I still think that it was the wrong decision.
