2 Wintersplash - 1.0 (page 4)
I stood behind the fence with Timmy and the dog. That sounds like the closing sequence of a TV show. Every show can close with the three of us solving a problem, then standing behind the fence while the credits roll.
I figured that I owed Mom another chance to be featured in another picture. She joined Tim and I for a final group shot before it was time for her to go back inside and out of the cold.
I had forgotten about how badly this Wintersplash thing hurts. They might as well have drawn a chalk outline around my body, because I wasn't going anywhere. I should've used a sled, just like Timmy said.
Wintersplash: The Musical! lights up the backyard and illuminates the hearts of future generations of children. Featuring seven new songs by June's Blanket, it is seen by 2 people and then canceled.
While we were sledding down the driveway, I came this close ( [ ] )to getting stuck underneath my Mom's car. It would have been cool to be stuck under there, and ride along with the car like Nordberg (O.J. Simpson) in Naked Gun 2 1/2.
Before we went inside, Tim needed to try one last thing - stand up Wintersplashing. He completed this task with ease, and didn't stumble or fall. That Timmy sure is an amazing little guy.
Tim went inside, which was what I was about to do until I realized that I hadn't even started to walk in this wintry wonderland. So I headed out toward street to experience a new form of Wintersplashing - Street Sledding. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but in retrospect, I wish that I had chosen a different street, one with a better hill. Now that would be a good time. I enjoyed Street Sledding, and would happily do it again (don't pay attention to the look of disgust on my face, I was happy, but the cold had affected my senses.)
And once again, my promise from the 2003 Wintersplash season holds true for the 2004 season - come out and Wintersplash, and I'll treat you to a cup of hot chocolate. That much I will always promise.
I took this picture as a demonstration of how much it snowed. When I got to 'Tosa, my car was clean, and when I left it was covered in snow. You gotta love the way that that works out. Hooray winter.
