2 Wintersplash - 1.0 (page 3)
I was demonstrating the Eamon Swandive, and Tim somehow managed to catch a lightning bolt streaking out of the sky and striking in our backyard. Thankfully, no one was hurt. So I walked back to the top of the hill and ran it again, and it was lightning-free, and the Swandive reemerged for a second season.
Lassie couldn't help but play in the snow, it was in her blood. Her family lineage included a long line of outdoor snow playing collies.
Tim was in full homeless guy gear, bumming around the backyard looking for spare change. He figured that bums live outside most of the year, even in the cold, so dressing like one would help him stay warm.
I present to you my 2004 Wintersplash gear. Not much has changed since last year, with the focal point still being my Greater Amoco Open Golf shirt. The bandana and the hooded sweatshirt add a much needed layer of protection against the winter weather.
Tim was flying down the hill at a record pace when he stopped long enough for a photograph, then continued down towards the fence at the end. It is simply stunning that he can freeze time for a second. Man that Timmy fella sure is amazing.
Tim is one of the select few who can always make it to the bottom of the run, and he always effortlessly slides underneath the fence without a scratch. If I attempted half of the things that Tim does, I'd end up in the hospital.
A daring stunt involving Tim and the crossbars of the rickety fence silences the crowd (me) as they (me again) gasp in a moment of disbelief. Luckily Tim was ok. Can't say much for the fence though...
