2 Wintersplash - 1.0 (page 1)

Wintersplash 1.0 started with some flava flave, but soon after Eamon had to go. The snow was coming down like crazy (well, look at it!) and Eamon's mom didn't want him driving in the harsh conditions. But he was there, and this picture proves that he was willing.

A crisp Sunday in January brought the first snowfall of the season, and by far the most memorable. There was none, then the was a whole lot. It was crazy, and in the fever that came over me, I neglected to call a few friends (sorry Jake and James, but your phone will be ringing the next time around.)

Not much had changed since the '03 season, including the sleds, the mats, and our wardrobes. Minor changes were inevitable, including Tim's trucker hat and my badass bandana. The dog was still there to annoy us, but it was Wintersplash, so we let it slide. I know I'll get some negative responses for that one. I promise no more bad puns for the rest of this page. (Can't promise that for the rest of the site though...)

Rally had been waiting for a moment like this. The 2003 Godsplash season wasn't much to talk about (which was mostly my fault), so she waited in the garage for her moment to arrive. And arrive with splendor it did.

I tricked my Mom into coming outside to take pictures of her kids at play. It's too bad that I also tricked the dog into coming outside. Ah well. Good thing that she sacrificed herself for the benefit of us.

My Mom was ecstatic that she got the opportunity to battle one on one with the wintry elements. Without us, she would be warm and cozy in bed with a cup of hot cocoa to warm her on this night.

Like a kid in a candy shop (how cliché!) I frolicked in the meadow of my backyard.  To and fro I ran and jumped; the whole time filled with glee.
