The Trifecta - Lakefront Brewery Tour

One of the best things about drinking in public is that you get to meet all sorts of randoms. You even get to meet randoms if you don't want to meet randoms. In this group picture, old random (the old guy in the yellow jacket) and young random (the young guy in the black jacket) jumped into our picture and became "that guy." We certainly didn't ask them to make an appearance, but isn't this picture all the better because of it? My sources point to yes.

They actually allow you to go hang out in Bernie's Chalet, so that you an pretend that you are the mustachioed mascot. The slide and mug are no longer attached, so there are some things that you have to allow your memory to play out, but I could still walk around, point at kids below, and try to hype up the crowd amassed below me. Unfortunately the lederhosen and giant yellow mustache were not provided, so at least for now I didn't really feel like Bernie Brewer. I felt as cool as him, but I will never be that happy cheering beer lover. Jenny Reck however, was a happy cheering beer lover, and was enjoying every second of this stop on the brewery Trifecta. Come to think of it, at the time I wasn't sad about being a poor man's Bernie Brewer; it's only at this time now in retrospect am I wishing I looked the part. Screw it man, I was having a blast, and for the time being the free beer was flowing free and we still had 1 more brewery to go to. Can this day get any better? I'll make you click on the next button at the bottom of the page to find out the answer to that question. You know you want to.

Jenny was standing right in front of me and getting hyped. First remember that we have now been drinking for a few hours. She took a picture of the Doin' It Our Way lyrics on her cell phone, then sent the picture to me on my phone. I yelled at her, saying something like, "Jenny. I'm right behind you looking at the same thing." I tried to be mad, but I was drinking too, and realized that I probably would've done the same thing to her. It's all good.
