Tim's Graduation Party
The party took a radical but good direction as soon as the Evans clan showed up. It had been ages since we had last seen them, so some catching up was in order for all. Chad got close to Jaye and a Mountain Dew, but all he got was a laugh and a rush of sugar and caffeine. Dan must have had the sniffles, because that was all he could do when I snapped this picture. Jaye must have been relaying a sad story that would make even the tough guys weep.
Sometimes when I attempt a goofy stunt, it backfires on me. Rich and Jaye were standing in the yard, and I handed Chad my camera so that I could stand behind them and make a silly face. They must have caught on, because they too made silly faces.
I am so fortunate to have so many Moms that love and care for me (and give me free things like food) whenever I see them. Crystal is one of the many that have taken me under their wing as their own. The other in the picture is of course, my birth mother.
The Evans family minus 1 and plus 2. Now that makes for an interesting equation. Especially when you factor out Danny and add me and Jake. That's like asking someone for a dollar, being turned down, then asking them for $100,000 instead.
When the crowd cleared and the dishes were being done, me and Eamon jammed a bit on guitar. Eamon is by far a superior player, but I could hold my own ground. I was good enough to enjoy my time playing with him instead of feeling frustrated.
So that pretty much ended the day. All partied out, I left the 'Tosa House to go back home, where I have been ever since. Even though it has been 40 days since that afternoon, I feel like it was just yesterday. And I owe that to the 3 biggest factors in my life - my family and friends, June's Blanket, and the Godsplash.
