Trip 2005 - Zion National Park

The road from Mesquite, Nevada to Zion National Park in Utah cut right through the mountains and followed along a gorge that the Virgin River created. The entire time that we were driving, you could lean over and look down into the river. It was only a 50 foot drop, but a fall could prove fatal in the shallow waters. My life is precious, so I stayed in the car until we reached Zion.
