Trip 2005 - Wyoming

Now that we left Salt Lake City behind, I knew that nothing else was going to happen today. I know that it was still early in the day, but I had a feeling that today was going to be a long and boring day. Besides Yellowstone Park (located in the Northwestern corner of the state) there is nothing else to see or do in this place. We did get one final look at the mountains before heading East, which was good because I wouldn't have another chance to see them until my drive out to Mesquite, Nevada for the World Series of Beer Pong.

The only thing that made this day passable was the scenery. I drove the entire day and through the entire state of Wyoming. We only stopped for gas and toilet, and spent the rest of the trip in the car.

When we saw this sign, we thought that it said Flaming George instead of Gorge. We laughed until we found out the truth that George was not a homosexual and that this was just a natural park in Wyoming.

My fascination with tunnels has been duly noted and documented over the years on my website, so I no longer feel the need to explain my actions when I take + display a picture such as the one shown below. If you still don't understand, read through every page I've ever created.

When we stopped for toilet, Tim did something a little out of the ordinary and sat atop the roof of the rest stop. I wanted to ask him why he did such a thing, but in the end, trivial things such as this don't matter in the scheme of life, but they sure do entertain us.
