Trip 2005 - Vegas Round 2 (Day)

Only in Vegas can something like this exist. There are fountains all over the world. but how many of them shoot water high up into the air synchronized to music? Probably none.

These pictures really don't do it justice, for the water was constantly moving and changing. There must be hundreds of pipes and spouts hidden underneath the water, all set to shoot water out at different intervals to make formations and patterns. It reminded me of a fireworks extravaganza, only with H20. If you try to imagine what that would be like, then you might be able to understand how incredibly neat this was.

Me and Jenny were hanging out because Timmy had Sarah to keep him company. That didn't bother us because it was just like old times when we both belonged to an exclusive club known as the Bomb.

It's amazing how music can hit you in the right spot and make you respond emotionally. From now on, every single time that I hear this song, I will remember this moment of my life, how I was feeling, and what I was thinking.

Sarah and Jenny were all giggly over these two guys (directly to the left of them) because they were from Australia or something and had accents. Those girls were going nuts. It did not make any sense at all to me.

Now that this show was over, my sole reason for going back to Las Vegas was fulfilled. We now had nothing left to do but drive to Palm Springs to stay at Uncle's house in the desert. We got one last group shot (courtesy of the "I'll take your picture, you'll take mine" tourist exchange") and then saddled up for the ride home. We had to wait forever to get our car from the valet, but it was alright because valet parking is free in Las Vegas.

The song playing during the show is called Con Te Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye) by Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman. It really set the mood for the entire fountain show, and I've decided to include it as the background music for this page. (You will only be able to hear the song if you are viewing this page in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Sorry. That's the only way I know how to do it...)
