Trip 2005 - Road to San Francisco

Other than the things mentioned on the previous page, this bridge wasn't very interesting. It basically connected us from point A to point B and allowed us to span a 7 mile stretch of water. But hey, that's innovation for ya!

We were following the map, driving along Highway 92 towards Half Moon Bay, and the road took us through some hills/mountains. It was rather picturesque, and certainly made the last half hour of a 6 hour car ride more enjoyable.

It was a little bit scary at first, because there was nothing but a metal guard rail separating us from life and certain death. But I'm an accomplished driver and I've been behind the wheel for over 6 years now, so like Allstate, the kids in the car were in good hands. Too bad I can only speak for myself and not for the car (hint: this will come into play later on in our adventure. Keep your ears and eyes open for that time when it comes...)

You've got to give me a little bit of a break here, because it's kind of hard to talk about pictures that say everything on their own. Why do I bother even trying to type then? Because I feel that it is necessary to uphold this site as a literary source of enlightenment. People come here from all around the world and I couldn't live with myself if I ever let them down.
