Like always, the wedding party sits at the head of the room, facing all of their guests. Because of that, we didn't really get a chance to talk to Craig and Gladys, other than the usual congratulations and it's good to see you again. Since we were from Wisconsin, we hardly knew anyone in the room, so we pretty much kept to ourselves for the night.

Since we hardly knew anyone inside, and the dance had yet to begin, we went outside for a little walk around the grounds. The sun was just beginning to set, and like every day in California, the night began beautifully.

Steve gave a nice speech, and clearly was the best man for the job. I don't know too much about their history together, but whenever I saw the two of them together, I saw them having a great time.

Trip 2005 - Craig's Wedding

Maybe they save these days for when I'm out here, but it seems that there's always a beautiful sunset every single day of the week. I can always just sit and marvel at the breathtaking views that God has created for us.

For most of this trip, the 6 of us had separated into pairs - Dad and Kathy, Tim and Sarah, and Me and Jenny (kind of like peas and carrots). No matter the place, time, or situation, Jenny and I found ourselves together with nothing to do, so we goofed around like always. And there's no better place to goof around than on top of a mountain.

We arrived a little bit early for the reception (it was right down the road from the church) so we had plenty of time to goof around outside (hence the pictures on the previous page). We were ready by the time that the wedding party got there to turn this mother out and get wild. But of course, we had to wait for the introduction of the wedding party, speeches from the best man and maid of honor, dinner, and all that other wedding related stuff.
