When Styx finished rocking on the stage, there was a little bit of camaraderie and a little bit of tomfoolery. I wouldn't expect any less from a band of their caliber.

After the show, we tried desperately to meet the members of Styx, but especially Tommy Shaw. While Shaw didn't come out to meet and greet, bass player Ricky Phillips did, and that makes him alright in my book. Tim got Ricky to sign the same paper that he got Lawrence to sign earlier in the day. (As of the present, Tim has met Tommy Shaw and Todd Sucherman and got them each to sign, but has yet to get the autograph of James "J.Y." Young.)

Tim and I caught the sweaty towels that the band threw into the audience. Tim caught Todd's, and I caught Tommy's, and Tim would've done anything to trade, but I just gave it to him because it meant more to him anyway. I just was happy to have a kickass towel.

That's my friend Dave Foley.

Now that our musical jollies were satisfied, we could now go home, but we leave forever changed by the rocking music of Styx. I know that I speak for everyone when I say that none of us will ever forget that concert experience and the time that we were in the front row to see one of the greatest bands of all time. The best part of it all was that there was nothing between us and the band, so it seemed like they were singing right to us, for we didn't have to look over hundreds of adoring fans. And believe me, when I say hundreds I mean it. These cool cats came from miles around to see that these guys still know how to put on an amazing concert.
