Scott and Joey Kanz go to St. Louis

We had to wait a little bit until we traveled up to the top, so they corral you into this area that has museum-like exhibits and artifacts explaining the Arch's conception and creation. I care a lot about history and stuff, but we were just too tired to read and learn. We sat back against the wall until it was our turn to get into the pods and ride up to the top. These pods would fit only 3 Kanz-sized people, yet they stuff 5 people in there. It was then that I found out that Kanz was claustrophobic, something that I exploited by giving him a hard time during the trip to the top.

I was as animated as a cartoon character, which dearly made up for the spark that was missing when Kanz tucked himself into his shell. I started harassing our pal Joe, which only made the situation worse. He couldn't wait to exit the confined space, and I made the journey up a living hell.

I took a picture of our seats, which were located at the upper leftmost corner of that giant Bud Light sign. They aren't that much to look at from up here.

The aerial view of Busch Stadium offered no more than we had seen over the past few hours. I just took a picture of it because that is what you do. Curse me for following the lead of others.

When I got to the center point of the Arch, I did my "holla" pose as if I was on top of the world. In reality, I was only 600 some feet in the air, which is next to nothing if you really think about it.

These pictures were also intended to be submitted to Brewers.com for their "Your Brewers are Here" campaign. Needless to say, they never got submitted to the Brewers because it's been over 9 months since I took these pictures and I'm finally uploading them onto this site. Even though they will never make it onto the Brewers website or on the video board, you will still get to see them. Now isn't that special...
