Summerfest with Timmy + The Gang
Dave Foley showed up just in time to join the festivities. He worked down at Summerfest, but went back to Wauwatosa to change clothes then drove all the way back down to Summerfest. I think that there was a better way to handle that situation, but I'm just glad that he showed up.
Tim was saving up all of his energy for the Styx concert, but that didn't stop me from jumping up and down and singing along to rhythm and blues. You have to understand that the Blues Brothers is one of the absolute greatest movies of all time (and one of my favorites), so this show was awesome.
It doesn't get any better than the comic genius and musical talent of Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, but these guys sure put on a notable tribute. I really liked the band that they had, and the harmonica playing. They really knew how to get my ticker going. When they finished, my heart was racing at a pace fast enough to be ready for the greatest concert ever - Styx.
I'm sitting in the front row and I get a phone call. It was Eamon. He told me to stand up and look behind me. Turn to your left, turn to your right, you've gone too far, getting warmer, getting colder. It was like Where's-freakin'-Waldo. I couldn't find him in the Summerfest crowd. I had almost given up, but then there he was, giving me a thumbs up and reassuring me as always. Yeah Eamon.
