Brewers vs. Reds in Cincinnati

When we got to the hotel, Brodey and I walked around downtown Cincinati to find a liquor store that would provide us with some fine Miller products that would get us ready for tonight's game. We ended up walking around for a long time, until we finally found a OscoDrug store that sold beer. We grabbed some Miller Lite (I grabbed some Milwaukee's Best Ice) and went to the rooftop.

It was a bit difficult to put my body weight into my swing wearing flip flops, but I did a serviceable job. I could have done better wearing shoes, but that option wasn't available at this time. I still went out there and had fun, which is all that really matters anyway.

Brodey and Lorge were laughing at me from the other side of the glass because I looked a bit ridiculous in that batting helmet, but it was necessary if you were going to go with fast pitch. If I have to abide by the rules to play baseball, then I have no choice but to do it.

I grabbed a Hank Aaron replica bat because I'm from Milwaukee and that was the best viable option. I could've picked someone else's bat, but why? Who out there is better than Hammerin' Hank Aaron? Show me a better hitter and I'll gladly use his bat.

None of us only claim to be athletes because of our participation in the CHBPL. As of right now, the sports community doesn't recognize beer pong as being a sport, so for the time being, we have to keep on pretending that we are athletes.

On the way out, Brodey and I stopped by Prince Fielder's bat and took a souvenir photo with it. On the wall next to the bat were gold colored plaques  featuring the names of several notable players throughout major league history who used Louisville Sluggers. We searched long and hard to find top notch Brewers players like Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, John Jaha and Kevin Mench.
