Portland February 2015 - Day 2

Kelly also loves elephants. She even has an elephant tattoo. And why not? What is there not to love? I think everyone loves elephants. Except poachers and hunters. But I guess they love them for a different reason. So I guess my theory is true, but some of the results sadden me. Wait... when did I get on to the topic of killing? There is no place for that here. This is supposed to be about fun! Adventure! Life! Ok. Moving on.

With no more quarters left in our pockets, we retired to the nearest seating area to spend the only currency we had left - time. I didn't come here to play video games (although it was a lovely treat). I came here to hang out with Kelly and Sarah. I just didn't expect to be doing it on a lighted tabletop. With alcohol in our systems, this all made sense at the time. I look back on these now and I don't understand anything that is going on here and I can't seem to make anything of it. But why should I? I believe that these pictures speak for themselves and need no explanation. So just sit back and soak it all in. Don't ask questions. Just go with it. That's what I'm doing.

Like I previously mentioned, whomever came up with this idea is a genius. I don't even know how much money I spent here and to be honest with you, I don't really care because I had a great time. I don't think that there is something like this in Milwaukee, so once I get the investors on board, I'm stealing this idea for my town.

On the walk back to the car, we went through this park and past this elephant sculpture. I've loved elephants since I was a little kid, so I had to have my picture with this beast. I understand that it wasn't the real thing, but in my drunken state, I don't think I could have handle the real thing. It wouldn't end well.
