Pic o the Day 51

As I mentioned on the previous Pic of the Day, I purchased tickets for the April 28-30 Cubs vs. Brewers series at Wrigley Field. I bought 3 tickets for the Sunday April 30 game for my Dad Mike, my brother James and myself. James and I drove down around 10:30 Sunday morning though a steady stream of rain. We figured that today's game would be rained out, but we went anyway because we had already purchased the tickets. We picked up my Dad who lives in Fox Lake, Illinois (about 30 miles south of Kenosha) and made it to Wrigley Field around 12:30 for the 1:20 game. The start of the game was delayed by 35 minutes, so we ate at one of the nearby bars. We made it to our seats during the 1st inning. This was also a game I'll remember forever. Chris Capuano pitched a complete game shut-out and Bill Hall and Carlos Lee each hit home runs that eventually resulted in a 9-0 victory. Watching this kind of ball game with my Dad and older brother made the experience more memorable because I don't get to spend a lot of time with either of them. All and all, I had a nice little Sunday to compliment a crazy Friday and a super Saturday.
