We dodged traffic like the amphibian from Frogger to get to this Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. It's in the middle of a busy highway that connects the middle of nowhere to the new Las Vegas Strip. This part of town simply didn't exist in Vegas' heyday (1950's) when this sign appears to have been constructed, so it's a wonder that it is even standing here. Even though it took a lot of searching and hard work to get out here, this picture was worth the struggle.
