On hole 17, Jenny and I each made our long distance putts for par. Can you see the cage in the middle of the picture? I know how depth is skewed a little bit in pictures, but believe you me, it was pretty darn far. It was damn near a miracle that we each hit our shots, and I hate to toot my horn, but my shot was a little more difficult because of the trees in between me and the cage. But I guess that I just figured out what made us hit the shots - a little something that I like to call Liquid Confidence. With it, you think you can do anything, and although the results are not always perfect, you are more likely to make an attempt at succeeding. Liquid Courage can really do some crazy stuff to you. |
Orlando Spring Break - Day 4 |
We had finished all 18 holes and I would like to point out that we both shot pretty well despite our recent hiatus from the game. At heart, Jenny and I are both champions, which made the transition back into the game seamless and flawless. We stood triumphant over the vanquished final hole and laughed at its demise. |
I mostly live in the present, and I rarely plan for my future, but I do remember what I have done in the past that brought me to this moment. All the way back in 2001, Jenny and I went Frisbee golfing in the town of Azusa, California and we posed while sitting in the cage. Both of us have gotten a little older and bigger, but we still know how to party and goof around while sitting on a Frisbee golf cage. That's how we roll. |
My Dad loves his dog Percy. It's good to see that he's got someone to hang out with now that he's so far away from his family. When we were down in Florida, his wife was still living and working in Illinois, and all of his kids, siblings, and parents all lived in Wisconsin, so he needed someone to hang with, even if it was a dog. That's why they call them Man's best friend, because sometimes it's true. |
