Ohio - They Leave, We get Drunk

We started drinking in the room and eventually made it to the outside terrace area. Although it was around 7:00 pm, it was still warm outside (after all, it was mid-August) and we were comfortable. The combination of outside and alcohol produced mixed results.

You've already seen how Jenny responds to the camera (thumbs up) and Tim is no different. In fact, most "normal" people will describe how they are feeling with an all-telling thumbs up.

I'm anything but normal, so I show my feelings by making a mask with my hands. This is a very popular look, used mostly by my family members on amusement park rides where your picture is taken.

Danny and Gretchen were to be married tomorrow afternoon, which meant that the rehearsal and dinner was tonight (Friday.) Everyone who was staying in the hotel went to the rehearsal and dinner...except for Jenny, Timmy and I. We were the only ones who weren't either family or in the wedding party. My Mom did leave us a car, but we were strangers in a strange Ohio town. We really didn't know what to do, and feeling a real sense of abandonment, we went to a liquor store, bought some booze, and proceeded to drink ourselves silly.

The best thing about the 3 of us is that we don't need alcohol to be silly or have fun. In the video on the previous page, we were all just goofing around and Tim decided to jump on the bed, which eventually resulted in hotel damage that my Mom would have to pay for.

These kids look up to me and follow in my footsteps, which is why I often have to carefully choose what I do and say. When I do funny and harmless things, like the "eye goggles" mask, it is perfectly fine that they copy me. I need to be careful when I do something less than favorable, because then they also copy me. You may say that these kids are in their 20's and they should act independently and know right from wrong, and you may be right in saying that. Nevertheless, they still mimic my actions and behaviors, which almost always gets us in a whole lot of trouble. That may be the story of days past, but it would be the one told to the proper authorities on this day...

I noticed this lady, let's go ahead and call her Odessa, standing around in a public place with her, um, boobs fully exposed. With a child near her no less. I don't know how they did things in Ancient Greece, but here in America we cry "INDECENCY!" whenever flesh is exposed. We come up with clever ways to address it (for example: wardrobe malfunction) but there's always some politician or church leader who gets all fussy about the incident at hand. In order to prevent that from happening again, I did what every red, white and blue-blooded American would do and covered up her naughty parts. We all do our own part, no matter how small, to ensure the protection of our country and her citizens. Now that Odessa was in compliance with government regulations, she could now be a full-fledged member of our drunken and rowdy gang.
