South Carolina 2012 with Matt - Day 3

We then walked around the 5 Points Area to do some shopping. I didn't care to shop much because that's not my thing, and neither was this store. Pupcakes Pet Boutique and Bakery is a store for dogs which sells little outfits and dog cookies. James bought some cookies for me to take home to Gracie, so it wasn't all bad.

This guy kind of looked homeless. That or he's just really weird. He was standing next to a dumpster squeezing some kind of condiment onto a sandwich. If that doesn't scream homeless then the zubaz under the cargo shorts do. Homeless people don't care about fashion. Homeless people don't give a shit! But he did have a pretty sweet hat. I have to give the guy some credit there.

We went to this hamburger joint for lunch called Burger Tavern 77. It was outstanding. My burger had bacon, a slice of ham, a fried egg and jalapeņos plus it came with some of the best fries I've had in a while. I drank some good ass beer too and this day started out on the right food. Good eats will do that to ya.

This street performer was standing underneath the Hootie sculpture and asking for money. I put a $1 in her jar and she acted like a Goth marionette. It was awful. Not worth $1. So I offered her a candy cigarette for her troubles. You need this more than I do. To help take away the pain.

But the real reason that we were here was to do shots. And free shots at that. I don't know why the shops were doing it but it was the Festivus "ART Vandelay Shop-n-Sip Tour featuring samples of Van Gogh Vodka. For the most part it was cool but I didn't get to check out any really interesting stores. But free booze is nice.

I went to this candy store that had every old school candy imaginable so I bought a pack of candy cigarettes. Then I chilled outside of Bones Rugs & Harmony (a store with a cooler name than anything in there) and pretended to be one of the cool kids. Since I've never smoked a cigarette, I guess that's what they do.
