Minnesota, Mike Bates, Jenny, + Me
So I literally decided to add a new spin to the game, with my patented reverse spin technique. See I bowl right handed, but use some crazy opposite spin. The best way to sum it up is that I use a left-handed person's spin while bowling right-handed, creating extreme silliness.
Joining the party were two of Mike's friends. Here's one of them demonstrating the Minnesota style of bowling, which to my eyes was no different that Wisconsin style.
Here's his other friend, who also was a good sport about allowing us Wisconsinites to dominate the bowling alley. Both of them were great people to hang out with that night, and we had a such a great time.
Every time I take one of these "me holding the camera taking a picture of myself with another person in the background" pictures, the background person is always unaware of my actions, and therefore has a blank look upon their face.
Now I've seen Jenny bowl before, and I thought that I knew all of her tricks. But it turned out that trix were not just for kids, as she busted out some craziness and ruled the Minneapolis bowling community.
That Friday night, we found that the thing to do up in Minnesota is bowl. So like the good little kids that we are, we went out to the local alley to throw a couple balls. I like to bowl, so I had a good time. The added bonus was that any time spent in the company of Mike Bates garnered positive results.
Mike proved to be a grand bowler, willfully showing up the Minnesotinites. His poise and form, not to mention his follow-through guaranteed his success on the alleys that night.
