Minnesota, Mike Bates, Jenny, + Me
We had to meander around the water and rocks to get to the cave, and we almost fell in. Just one question though, who the hell is Boracho, and why is his name emblazed on a wooden cross beam? We will never know.
Me at the entrance to the cave. Can't really call it a cave, cause it has a door. Mike and I joke that theirs a bear living in there. Last year when we went, we took one of those "holding the camera taking a picture of you face" pictures, and joked that there would be a bear right behind us.
Having spent enough time by the river, we then chose to go spelunking. You heard me, spelunking. I've always wanted to be a spelunker. A spelunker is one who explores caves, which is exactly what we did. I've been to this cave on a separate trip up there, and every time we've gone, we forgot to bring a flashlight, so we could only go in about 10 feet before it got too dark. This kid that was standing outside the cave waiting on his 2 friends, who were inside the cave spelunkering and looking for this bum. We were there for at least 20 minutes, and when we left, that kid was still there alone. I wonder what happened to his friends...
