Me and Timmy at Lake Michigan
Pookon's Lost Archives
Me and Timmy went down to Lake Michigan on a chilly Saturday in February of 2002. We took the dog out for a stroll along Milwaukee's beautiful shoreline. Ah who am I kidding. We had fun anyway, but my camera lens was cloudy, and didn't capture the pictures accurately. All of the pictures have a murky look to them, and elicit a dream-like feeling as my eyes gaze upon them now...
I hid amongst the rocks and started my hermit-like existence. Free from the society of which I had abandoned, I chose to live out my life in solitude with only the soothing waves of Lake Michigan to quiet my imminent thoughts and to offer me solace.
Tim and I stood along this walkway and allowed the self-timer to capture us in our natural state. By using perspective to his advantage, Tim is taller than me for the first time in his life.
Tim stood out like a sore thumb on the rock pile, this time actually being taller than the subjects around him.
Tim and I stood behind this sewer, which was gross just like every other thing near Lake Michigan. If bottled, the smell surrounding the Lake would not sell a single ounce. This city really needs to do something about that wretched place.
It was one of those bad hair days (back in the day when I used to have hair), so I wore this silly bucket hat. It wasn't all bad though. If I was going for style points, my ensemble would win me a prize for matching. I've got a nice color scheme going on here.
We soon arrived at this playground that was by McKinley beach. It had all of the amenities of a usual playground but with one bonus feature - this cool structure that resembled a boat. Tim climbed up into the look out post, and stared back at me.
