We got to the hotel around 4:00 pm, which gave us a good 2 hours of drinking and beer pong before heading out to Kaufman stadium. We showered and dressed in our very best Brewers apparel and proceeded to play a few games of beer pong. I had brought with me my bingbong table and my Carlos Lee "El Caballo" horse sign, both of which make it in to the pictures featured below.

Brewers Games in Kansas City

I'm not sure how many games we played in the hotel room, but I do remember that it wasn't nearly enough. If we had more time, we would have certainly played more games or at least taken the table with us to the parking lot and continued the pre-game festivities.

Since we had 5 people, which was obviously an odd amount, one person had to sit out of every game. The rotation provided for some incredibly fair and exciting games. You were really never sure who you were playing with, so every game was just like Christmas morning.

I was pretty excited to be going to an away game to see the Brewers taking on a former AL Central rival. This road trip was the second of three planned road series that I would attend (the first of which was Chicago, the 3rd would be Minnesota) and the Royals were the worst team in baseball. Even though the Brewers had been struggling on the road, this is a series that they could and should win with ease.
