Afterglow 2010 - Day 7 Friday

The girls were the first to model off the new attire, because with the exception of Derek Zoolander and Hansel, modeling is mostly a female thing. Girls are prettier than boys anyway. It's science. And it also has already been proven throughout history, so deal with it.

While I was on the beach relaxing with the old folks the kids were back at Cabin #2 coming up with a plan set the world on fire with the biggest craze since the sombrero. Aunt Sandy had made a trip to the dollar store and purchased materials to make togas. Yep. Togas!

When the row boat slowly came around the bend the adults and myself got our first look at the kids all dolled up in their togas. Naturally the beach was aflutter with Moms grabbing their cameras and Dads grabbing their mugs. The Moms wanted to capture this moment in time and the Dads wanted to forget it. I guess that says a lot about me because I did both. And yet I wonder why I'm single. I got more issues than TV Guide.

I'm not sure if the Red Book has a rule that forbids you from standing up in a boat on the waters of Lake Afterglow, but if there isn't there will be one now. Despite Kevin taking on the form of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ he is breaking one of the laws of common sense - don't do anything stupid. Timmy compounds the situation by standing up as well, putting Susie and Brian in jeopardy. But they didn't tip, because remember that these kids only tip canoes and sailboats. Row boats are exempt from catastrophe.

And those are the last pictures I have from Friday, which is odd considering there were still 6 hours remaining until it was officially Saturday. I know that we drank a bit, got in some trouble with the locals and our family members, it rained and we went to the Casino. I almost remembered a little bit more but I lost it just now. We used to rage it like crazy on the final day of Afterglow but something changed over the years. Oh yeah, I got old. Timmy used to call me the leader of Afterglow activities and fun, so as I go they go. And at my age I go to bed early. So there you have it.
