Afterglow 2010 - Day 3 Monday |
People have come to expect for us to be drunk 24/7 and to be a little crazy. I for one will never disappoint my fans and I know that my family is right there by my side. We proudly wore our sombreros on our head and marched down to the campfire area like an entourage intent on proving that they were the hottest thing on planet Earth. But we didn't have to prove anything because we already knew that every person in every cabin at Afterglow desired to be just like us. Sadly for them we weren't accepting any new members, but they still could join The Revolution. |
We were all rested up and liquored up, so the only plausible thing to do now was go for a swim and risk our lives. They say you should wait at least one half hour after eating before going swimming, but is there a rule about how long you should wait after drinking? There should be. |
I totally don't remember this. Probably because I was passed out when this picture was taken. Going to town took a lot out of Timmy and myself, so we had to take our 2nd nap of the day in order to rest up for the silliness that always unfolds everyday up here at Afterglow. |
Kevin borrowed his real cousin Nate McLouth's hat. Since Nate is only like 4 years old or something, the hat was too small for him. But that didn't stop Kevin from rocking it like he was the sexiest thing to walk the beach of Afterglow since Pete Moline was a teenager. |
The government never has to issue an Amber Alert for missing children for us at Afterglow because you can always find us on top of the HD. We spend so much time up there that we can claim it for the Homested Credit on our taxes. So at least we get some money back. |
In the 9 years I've been posting my Afterglow pictures here on pookon.com you've become accustomed to a few things. So even though I always say it, I don't have to tell you that we take a relaxing dip in the HT after a swim in the lake. But I'll keep doing it anyway. |
It was Monday evening. That fact is not debatable. So we knew that the pot luck dinner was rapidly approaching. We needed to be in top form for the food free for all and Uncle Greg's Cabin #5 speech, so we took some shots before heading down to dinner. Timmy was shocked. |
I never know what the hell is going on. I blame the booze on that one. So I don't know why Tommy and I are so confused in this picture. Maybe we spent too much time in the hot tub. I read on the wall that you are not supposed to do that. Who knows. And also, who cares? |
The McKissick family picked a Monday afternoon to take a family picture. I'm glad that the 3 boys decided to dress up to celebrate this momentous occasion. They haven't been a complete family here at Afterglow for some time, and I for one was glad they finally were. |
