Green Bay Spring Break (page 9)
This picture is so holy that I half expected to see Jesus peering over my shoulder. If you believe as I do , than the Big 3 are already present in the hearts and minds of the people gathered in the building behind me. Remember that the people (community) are the church, not the building.
No one has ever been this sad at Chuck E Cheese's, that much I guarantee you. We were looking for an air hockey table so that I could dominate the entire free world, but there was none to be found in this rat infested hellhole. Seriously, what kid would want to go to a place where 6 foot rats are allowed to run rampant.
A visit to Green Bay wouldn't be complete without a trip to Lambeau Field. I guess that my trip wasn't complete then, because this was the closest that I got. But you know, you been there once, you been there a thousand times. That's what I say about the other stadiums.
I found out the hard way that the people in apartment 18 were serious about the whole "GO AWAY" thing. Well, how was to know that "GO AWAY" meant go away. I woke up this morning with the assumption that it was opposite day, so it really wasn't my fault.
So with the rain coming down in a light drizzle, I paraded around the parking lot with the top down on my lovely convertible. I could've collected enough stares to put under my pillow for the stare fairy. At a quarter a piece, we're talking like $1.25 man. All right...
It's 120 miles to Milwaukee, I've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and I'm wearing sunglasses. Hit it. Well, that was mostly true, except for the cigarettes and sunglasses part. But it was raining, like really hard. Ha ha, the Blues Brothers.
On the way home I was scared. I could hardly see the rain through all of the rain. Turns out that there were some floods up North where we had just been , from all of the rain and the melting snow. I've got a video of me driving and singing Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" and then I let them know that I did, and it was coming down on me. That entire ride home sure was interesting...
