Green Bay Spring Break (page 6)
I left with the exact amount of money that I went in with - 30 American dollars. I also had a bag of nickels, which I lost to the machines, but I didn't count that since it was pocket change. I spent most of the night playing roulette, and I was down so much that I almost lost it all, but I won it back. I was going to quit as soon as I was $20 up or broke even, whichever one came first. The highest I got was + $19, so I cashed out when I had $20. All in all, it was a fun night.
The original plan called for an overnight stay in Eagle River, but as soon as we got out of the Casino (about 9:30) we decided to grab some food and then head back to Green Bay, seeing as how it was only a 2 and a half hour trip. We stopped in this bar in Eagle River for a beer and some food, it was the local dive kind of bar, which was unusually slow for a Friday. It looked like the regulars were able to make it out though. I had a beer, and then all hell broke loose in the streets.
When we walked out to the car, I noticed that Eagle River's "main street" Wall St. was exceptionally quiet for a Friday night. That really bothered me. Eagle River's bustling commercial center shouldn't be quiet on a business day. Granted it was late, but there was absolutely no one around. It was then that I got an idea in my head. As you loyal pookondotcommies know that when that happens, it is rarely a good thing. At least you have the confidence to know that hilarity will soon ensue, and what you will witness will be nothing short of amazing. With that being said, you are aware that what you see on the next page may trouble some viewers, particularly impressionable youths. View at your own risk, you have been warned.
