The (Deep) South Carolina

Melissa teaches D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) at a few of the area schools. She also provides security and watches over the kids. She loves her job and it's a hell of a lot better than chasing criminals around the mean streets of Columbia. This Saturday morning they had an open house / school fair and she had to be there, so James and I went to go see her. The school prides itself on the arts, and the school band played a rendition of Santana's "Evil Ways" on a variety of instruments including steel drums. It was pretty amazing, especially because they were kids.
