CineVegas 2008 - Last Cup After Party

Dan and I won several games in a row, and to be honest with you, I lost track of what was going on. There was just too much going on all around me to focus on the game. From the lights, to the alcohol, to the scantily clad women, to the fanboys surrounding me, it was getting a little too much to handle. There were too many things trying to grab my attention. But I think that I was having a good time.

Dan had nothing left to prove, so he gracefully stepped down from the table to allow me to play a game with Sean Foster. I have known of Sean for years from the Bpong forums and his play at the WSoBP, but I never got the chance to sit down and talk with him or play a game against him or with him.  So Dan gave me that chance, and Sean and I took on the next challengers willing to step up.

No offense, but the movie just really doesn't do justice for how tall and goofy looking Sean is. I say that with all due respect, because I myself have plenty of good friends (Joey Kanz, Aaron, Brodey) that are tall and goofy looking yet excel at beer pong. I continued my horrible streak of poor beer pong play, but luckily Sean took it upon himself to carry the team and make nearly every single cup. I once again served only as eye candy for our opponents, but luckily this time they were females and not a bunch of guys boarding the dude train.

It's great when two established long time beer pong players get together, because that's when the beer pong talk begins. The game itself is secondary, as you pay more attention to the conversation than to the cups you are shooting at. Sure, you still try to win, but that becomes an afterthought as you discuss various league rules, strategies, players, tournaments, and things of that nature. But for the 1st time tonight, the ladies loved the Iceman, and I'd like to keep it that way.
