Mom loves Baya and Tucker. Much like she loves Major Korben Dallas and loved Higgins and Coach Gordon Bombay. She calls them her "Grandpets" because they are the closest things she will have (at least as things stand right now) to having Grandchildren. Sorry that we were unable to produce spawn for you to spoil Ma, but there needs to be two people willing to take on the burden of raising a new generation. To this day none of your kids have found the 2nd half willing to accomplish it.

After dinner we decided to head back home and call it a night. After walking along the Columbia Canal in Riverfront Park, touring the South Carolina State House and eating dinner along the shores of Lake Murray, we were pretty Tuckered out (pun intended) and decided to take it easy before going back home tomorrow. But that doesn't mean that the party had to end. The party never ends.

Even though we decided to stay in for the night, this didn't mean that the fun had to end. We poured a couple of drinks, downloaded the "Heads Up" game on my tablet and played some family games. It seemed like everyone was into it and we all had some laughs. It was the best possible way to quietly close out this trip. The whole purpose of this was to spend time together. And that's what we did.
