More New Mexico Junk

It doesn't take a genius to read and follow this warning, but obviously we aren't the smartest crayons in the box, cause we certainly didn't follow it.

I almost thought about stealing this truck, but it was missing a few wheels, so it wouldn't have been much use to me. Maybe if I had gotten to it sooner...

Although the heading does say New Mexico, hopefully you'll be able to forgive me for these two pictures. These were actually taken in Texas. We drove through the Northernmost part, what I believe is called the panhandle (if I am wrong, who cares? There's nothing you can do about it!) on our way to Okalahoma. This part of Texas was extremely flat, and had a light snow cover, which again surprised me. We were passing through at about sunset, which explains the slight discoloration in the sky. Yee-Haw!

I suspect this to be a water tower of some sort. That's the only excuse I have for this ridiculous piece of architecture. It would be fun to live in though, especially if it was like a dunk tank inside. I always wanted to be one of those clowns who made fun of people. Those guys were mean.

I found this rather odd, kinda like the snow at the Grand Canyon. I would have never suspected Cacti and snow to be in cahoots. That entire sentence was just an excuse to use the word cahoots.

A very cool looking Mesa. Say it with me - Maaaaassssaaaaaa. I looked all over New Mexico for one of these things. Looks like I won. Now what did I win? I want my Mesa prize.

Me at the Historic Route 66 sign. Route 66 kinda sucked, I'm glad they invented freeways, cause I couldn't imagine driving cross-country on this piece of crap.
