Brewers vs. Twins in MN 2010 - Minneapolis

Hanging with Mike and his old college buddies reminds me of the good old days. I visited Mike many times while he went to school here, and we have returned to the Twin Cities many times after that even though he lives in Blackduck and I live in Milwaukee. I have spent many a fine night at these bars, and luckily almost all of them have been during the summer. There's just something about hanging out outside drinking a beer on a calm summer night that makes me feel relaxed and at home. Even if I am in the Twins Cities and far away from home.

Next we went to the Town Hall Brewery in the popular 7 Corners area of Minneapolis. I have been here many times but I will keep on coming back because it is a microbrewery pub that is constantly brewing new seasonal beers. So every time I come here, there is a new beer to try. If that isn't motivation to be a repeat customer, I don't know what is.

We went to grab some grub at a local gyro establishment. Nothing ever beats Oakland Gyros for me, but this place Dino's was pretty good. For one they served beer and since I was wearing a sombrero, I felt it necessary to drink a Dos Equis. But to think about it now, It's probably a good thing OG's didn't have beer. How would I sober up?

Katie and Reese were sleeping over at Katie's Aunt's apartment, but there wasn't room for all of us. So Shawn was going to let us crash at his place. Since we ditched the womens we were all jacked up for a dude's night out. The first bar that we went to had a $5 cover charge. Now I don't know about you, but I'm not about to go to a bar that charges you to drink there. So we walked to the bar next door and got some Jagerbombs and cheap beer. Now that's what I'm talking about. Good brews, good friends and a good time. What more could a guy ask for?
