Mike and I were definitely in the minority as we seemed to be outnumbered 1,000 to 1 as Brewers fans. We thought that we were alone until we found this Run Rickie sign after the game (in which the Brewers lost; one of a terrible many on the road in 2006). It was nice to see that someone else in the p.o.s. was cheering for the Crew.

The Minnesota Twins claims that they ban guns in these premises, but I know that they forget to check under my sleeves for the two biggest guns the Milwaukee Brewers have seen since Russell "The Muscle" Branyan.

I go into this in a little more detail on the following pages, but the Metrodome's fiberglass and Teflon roof stays inflated by pressurized air. When you exit the dome, the pressurized air exiting the building is strong enough to push your around and blow clothing from your body.

Brewers vs. Twins Games in Minnesota 2006

We arrived at the Metrodome a little bit before the game and stood outside of it before walking in. We had asked someone near us to take the picture, and although they were a Twins fan, they took the picture without being a jerk. Twins fans can be a little difficult at times, but it always could be worse - they could be Cubs or Bears fans.

Home

We were pretty upset by the way that the Brewers were manhandled by the Twins this weekend, and even more upset that the Twins fans were jerks and rubbed it in a little too much. To show my distaste for this horrendous structure and the hostility of its fans, I turned and gave the Metrodome the finger. To my knowledge, I have only done this one other time, in front of the MTV studios in Times Square, and I am not normally this vulgar. I couldn't help it this time because I was super upset that I came all of the way up here to see the Brewers play and they end up playing like crap and getting beaten by their former AL Central rivals. After displaying an attitude that can only be described as less than gentlemanly, Mike and I went back to Jess' house and prepared for tomorrow. But before we get to that, feast your eyes upon some silly videos that Mike and I made following the end of the game. We like to handle disappointment with a nice big dose of hardcore goofiness.
