We went into the arcade and looked for some fun games that people with little to no skill could play, seeing as how the ping pong ball game and the racing game already owned me. We settled on this version of skee ball titled Dunk-N-Alien!. This guy was already fully involved, and he was mighty serious about his skee ball. After borrowing $5 from his Mom, he played until he reached the high score. |
Brewers vs. Twins Games in Minnesota 2006 |
We slept in a bit on Saturday morning, and after going to PuncH, we only had a few hours left to kill before the Brewers game. The only thing that we could think about doing to pass the time was to hang out at the Mall of America. We wandered around for a bit, then listened to the little kid voice inside of us and headed towards the center of the mall and Camp Snoopy. For those of you who have never been there, it's basically like a miniature Six Flags style carnival park that is inside of a mall. There are snack places, carnival games and even rides, including a rollercoaster and a log ride. The video on the previous page showed me missing all of my shots, so I have nothing left to tell you about how I was beaten at my own game by the game itself. It's a little embarrassing, but you can't improve if you don't start at the bottom. |
If you put tokens into this game, you get to control a miniature car and drive it around this little area. I started racing against this kid next to me, and he had the nerve to taunt me and make fun of my driving skills. He was shouting things like "boo-ya" and "in your face." This kid held nothing back, and I offered to race him in real life in real cars, but he was too young to do it so I laughed at him. |
