Home

We got an innocent passerby to take our picture before we left. Although we look really happy in this picture, it's not because the Brewers pulled out a victory. If anything we should've been pissed. Rick Helling continued his string of quality starts only to watch the bullpen give up4 runs in the last 2 innings. The Brewers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th but still fell a few runs shy of a victory. That didn't stop us from cheering our little hearts out, and we were nearly exhausted by the conclusion of the game. It was then that we heard about a party happening in the UWM neighborhood that was hosted by John "Slider", a friend of mine and my former beer pong partner during my rookie season in the CHBPL. Seeking more alcohol to drown away our sorrows, we headed to his apartment to see some good friends and to play some beer pong.

I have no idea

I have no idea how I was set up to partner with this drunk girl in a game of beer pong. I don't think that I ever got her name, mostly because she was too busy being drunk to introduce herself, let along play a decent game of pong. She was too busy hollering at other people, so I just sat back and gave people the thumbs up.

This had to have been the longest game of my professional beer pong career. My partner got distracted by some drunken guys and I got distracted by Mike pointing at me. Naturally, I had to point back at him and complete the circle. Now that that was taken care of, I could go back to winning this beer pong game.

Most people forget that beer pong is a mental game as well as a physical game. The mental aspect comes in whenever you are trying to distract your opponents from making shots. Drunk girl and I started dancing to make the other people miss. Apparently they missed because our cup formations were still intact after their shots.

It looks like drunk girl found something better to so, and I held the table by myself. Thankfully I have trained hard for this day and I was able to become a superior force that all opponents had to reckon with. I showed everyone else that I show no mercy when it comes to beer pong, and I'm not afraid of taking on the world on 8 feet x 2 feet of plywood.

I notice now that this last page is very me-centric. If this page were the Earth, then it would revolve around me. I also notice how barren my right arm arm looks pre-Brewers tattoo . It's hard to imagine my skin being untainted, but back in September of last year, it was.

I then thank my good friend John for allowing us to continue our drunken night at his apartment. We didn't stay too long, because they were running out of beer and there were too many people there that we didn't know. I took my friends home, and we called it a night.

In retrospect, I really wish that I could attend more Brewers home games because I have a blast every time that I do. But then I think about having to pay bills and I realize that I can kill two birds with one stone by working the games. I get to watch my favorite team play ball while getting paid to do so, plus I get free dinner. I really can't pass that up, so for now until I quit my job, I'll have to settle with attending fewer than 5 home games per year. I guess I just have to make the best of the few times that I get to be in the park as a fan.
