Beer pong has become a phenomenon that has swept the UWM campus (well, at least the dining services employees) with an overwhelming rage that can only be compared to the plague. Beer pong is a very serious thing, like the diving competition in the Olympics, and that would put the greatest player in the same realm with that of the great diver Greg Louganis. Beer pong is a well recognized organization (read all about it on the official National Beer Pong League website at www.nbpl.com) We decided to start a league of our own (minus Rosie O'Donnell and Madonna, but Tom Hanks can drop by anytime if he likes) hosted at the house of Casey. It is like nothing you've ever seen before, we have a schedule, stat takers, and fans. I'm one of those fans who show up occasionally to take pictures or to participate in a exhibition match. That was the case on November 8, when I witnessed a night that someday will be upheld in glory.
Beer Pong - 11/08 (page 1)
That's Casey, the guy who lives here and lets us play Beer Pong in his attic. What a great guy. He works at the dock at UWM, and he still knows how to party. He got the esteemed pleasure of sharing a moment with two of the sweetest girls that I know, Jen and Michelle. What a lucky guy that Casey is. Everyone should be graced with the presence of two of the mist fabulous beings ever to walk the Earth.
My good friend John (and partner in the beverage business) or Slider as we call him at work (obviously a Top Gun reference, Iceman and Slider) came to add a little life to this party. Now there was already some life there, but you can tell just by this picture that he's a fun loving guy, and he adds excitement wherever he goes. Chris (in the left picture) relaxes with the smoothness of a cigarette while Gina (right picture) relaxes with good beer and good friends, hanging out with Casey while John looks on.
(Left) Chris does now, and always has, wears his hat gangsta style, cocked a little bit to the left. I let him borrow my Iceman hat for this photo op with TJ, who arrived in full Badger gear.
(Right) Russ and Michelle enjoy the very best that UWM has to offer - good brew, good friends, and good times. I feel great man, I FEEL GREAT!!!
Brodey prepares for another victory, while Aaron and Ashley look on in astonishment while the "Godfather" of Beer Pong practices his trade.
Luke (a friend of mine, who works at City Subs in the Union) naps like a slumbering baby, unaware of the excitement that is taking place in front of him.
