Last summer, the Brewers traded a couple of minor league prospects to the Cleveland Indians for CC Sabathia. One of the prospects was Matt LaPorta, who was among the top youngsters in our system. He was a corner outfielder, and with Braun and Hart blocking his path to the majors, he was unfortunately expendable. He figures to have a good career, but CC put us over the top and into the playoffs. Since LaPorta was no longer on our team, I felt the need to heckle him, and my comments after his strikeout still make me laugh.
