This violin player was sitting outside of Planet Hollywood and I stopped to listen to him for a couple of minutes. I normally hate street performers who beg for change, but this guy had some real talent and was unique. How often do you see a violin player jamming out like this? It reminded me of the Diva Plavalaguna in The Fifth Element because this too has an operatic/orchestrated sound mixed with hip hop. It had a really classy vibe to it, but before you think I'm fancy and part of high society, check out what happens at 2 minutes 20 seconds. No matter what I do to try and prove myself as an upstanding member of society, all it takes is a nice ass in booty shorts to knock me back down from whence I came.
