Alpine Valley - Phish Concert
The Phish concerts were rough because they were back to back, and each day I worked for 15 hours standing out in the sun most of the time. I stopped at the McCitgo on the way in this time, to buy some delicacies and to fill up on gas. This time around, I wasn't going to let Mr. Sun shine on down on me, so I bought an Alpine Valley Music Theater hat, which is the only one that you are sanctioned to wear on the job. And at $5.00, it was quite a steal...
From our parking lot, it is one heck of a walk to the main lots, unless you go through the theater. The problem is that you either need a ticket or be an employee to do that. Ticketed patrons cannot re-enter the theater using the same ticket, so if you wanted to meet some people up in the main lots, you need to go the long way, which is about a mile uphill. These hippies thought they were smart, so they stole a golf kart from the golf course, pilled on and tried to take it uphill. Thankfully, the golf course security guy caught up to them and made them all take baths. Now you're asking if that is the truth, and I'd say yes, except for the bath part because we all know hippies don't bathe. The greatest part of this all was that I was standing around and watching the entire thing unfold, plus I was getting paid to do so.
