Afterglow 2014 - Day 7 Friday

The weather is always interesting out here. It seems like every time I come out to Memory Point, there's a little something different. Today it was overcast, which affected the views out across the lake. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's just different. I appreciate that God/Mother Nature/Timmy keeps things changing out here. Makes every experience unique. That's all I ever really ask for in life anyway. I don't thrive well when things are mundanely routine. I need constant change and flexibility. I love a world of random.

I went back to the cabin to change clothes and grab a beer. You can't wear a swimsuit and drink whiskey all day pal, no matter how hard you keep trying. That just goes to show you that I have no idea what is going on at any given time. Would you expect anything else?

The itsy bitsy spider was sick and tired of the water spout, so he tried something new. I don't think wind chimes will work out too well for the spider.

We found ourselves back at Memory Point to hang out with Timmy again. This time I brought Kevin, Brian and Stacy with me. Sometimes I want to go out there to be by myself. But I never mind the company. It's good to have a support system of friends and family who "get it". They understand how important this place is and how it's not always about sadness. It's a place that can't really be described with words, so I'll just leave it at that. Thanks for being there for me when I need it the most.
