Afterglow 2014 - Day 4 Tuesday |
We pick one night a year to visit the casino up in Watersmeet, Michigan for some real gambling (no offense to Cousin Poker of course). The majority of us went (notably absent was Jenny Reck, who doesn't like casinos) and we enlisted the most sober people to drive. I believe that Susie drove us there because these 3 bastards in the back seat were in no condition to operate a motor vehicle. Just look at us - what a giant mess. A day of rage had relegated us to the 2nd class seats in the car, but we were willing to accept our designation in life. After all, we had pushed our chips all in and we were just waiting to see the flop so that we would know our fate. |
Susie and Curtis had a couple of Burger King crowns in their car. I think that I heard them mention this a few days ago but I did not believe it until now. They had brought a few into the casino and I randomly found one of them over by the soda machine. I came here with the intention of playing blackjack all night, but I lost $100 in 10 minutes, not winning a single hand. We were going to be here for a few hours, so I need something to do that didn't cost any money. So while wearing the crown, I acted like a mentally handicapped person. I was doing an over the top impression (I went full retard. You never go full retard) and I was pissing everyone off, especially Curtis. He kept telling me to stop and when I didn't, he slapped me in the face. I started fake crying and yelled out, "Curtis why are you always hitting me? (in the voice)" These grandmas turned and stared at Curtis with a look of concern that he was actually beating up on a mentally handicapped person. He got disgusted and walked away. I just laughed. I can be so obnoxious sometimes. |
I don't know how anyone else did (whether they won or lost). That's because I really didn't pay attention. I was so upset that I lost all my money in the first 15 minutes that I just didn't care anymore. I was hanging out with Susie and I saw her win some money. I think Brian lost but I'm not sure how Curtis or Tommy did. I'm sure if one of the won big, we would have all known about it. So we shuffled to the car and took this show back home, a little worse for the wear. But it was vacation. We have to go to the casino at least once. |
