Afterglow 2014 - Day 4 Tuesday |
Stacy brought her camera along with her in the water. While some people (me) view that as a sign of immaturity and as negligence for safety of personal property (electronics don't work well after getting wet), others (me) are thankful that she threw caution to the wind. If not for her careless (but controlled) actions, I wouldn't have these pictures to share with you. Everything happens for a reason. |
Dale McKissick is the pinnacle of manliness. When I grow up, I want to be just like him. Too bad it's not likely. Gary, Beeg and Kevin have a better chance. Lucky bastards. |
Is Tebowing (to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different) still a thing? I knew it entered pop culture sometime in 2011 when Tim Tebow was with the Denver Broncos, but do kids today still do that? I guess so, because Stacy and Tommy both dropped to one knee and imitated the former Heisman Trophy winner. |
There were a lot of dudes up on the HD. Too many dudes if you ask me. That's why I had to jump ship. But I was right back up there as soon as I got out of the water because I heard that there was a real sausage fest going on up there. So like clockwork, I was right on time. I'm obviously very confused. This is getting to be too complicated, so I'll just go into the boardroom and tell it like it is. |
After things get weird on the HD they almost always get weird in the HT. Ah who m I kidding - things just always get weird whenever this group this assembled. But it's the good kind of weird. The kind that makes you want to wake up the next morning to see how weird it can get the next day just to see if we can top ourselves. That kind of weird makes life worth living. That's what makes life great. But it is also the kind of weird that only happens at Afterglow, which makes coming here such an amazing treasure that I'll never give up. |
Home |
I have no idea what is going on here, but Tommy and Stacy have some kind of routine going on that probably isn't meant to be understood. I'm ok with that. It's good form to not ask questions about things that do not have answers. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Buckle in pal, because it tends to get bumpy from all the rage going on. |
When we exited the HT we found that the kids were playing beach games. I couldn't be less excited. Screw beach games. Whatever happened to the Slobstacle Course? Team Revolution dominated back in 2011. We wanted to defend our title. |
I remember my first weird HT rage. I guess some people just weren't cut out for this kind of nonsense. But you can't blame the little lad - we do rage pretty hard. The wheels have to fall off every once and a while so that you can put them back on. |
