Afterglow 2003 - Day 3 (page 8)
While basketball was going on, an entirely different battle was unfolding on the tennis courts. Reigning champions Uncle Dan and Uncle Dale faced off against my two real uncles, Uncle Greg and Uncle Rick. I did not witness this struggle, nor do I know who won, but I do say that it would have been an interesting match to see. I will have to ask my Mom (Kris), for she was the one taking the pictures while I played ball.
My Mom felt the need to take a picture of herself, which I fully understand. It gives me the opportunity to once again thank her for everything she's done for us, especially for this week at Afterglow.
I took this picture for two reasons; one, because it reminds me of a picture I took last year (only with Kevin instead of Gary), and two, because swings are cool. If I could, I would quit school and work and join the League of Professional Swingers.
James and I proudly display our tattoos, his real, mine fake. We always wanted a common bond that would unite us, but as soon as the water came, my tattoo was only a dream. Just wait, someday it will be permanent.
Tim eats his pudding like no other, devouring it with a skill none other has seen for centuries. I tried to take one, but like Billy Madison, Tim gets all uppity about his Snack Pak.
A mild day brought about a couple of unheard of activities. Swimming would have been the "crazy" thing to do (Tim and I did it anyway). On the left, Greg, Rick, Mark, and Phil played Spades outdoors, while on the right, Tim spotted James while he was lifting weights. What was I doing at the time? Stalking these people and taking pictures of course! (That and preparing for the June's Blanket performance following the pot luck dinner tonight.)
