Afterglow 2004 - Day 2
Seth (below) got a taste for ice cream and could never go back to reality after that moment. Ice cream is the one thing that transcends age, race, social class, and education. As I've said many times before, hooray for ice cream and hooray for me.
Pete (right) went from table to table taking random pictures of people, with the intention of showing these pictures at the awards/video night on Thursday. Well I too took his picture with the intent of showing it on my award-winning website.
Afterglow volleyball is great because you are allowed to let the ball bounce between hits. This rule is great for it allows us to be a little lazy, and also for us non-athletes (like myself) to actually look like they know how to play sports. Afterglow brings out the best in each and everyone one of us.
Tim realizes that people watch him wherever he goes, so he always makes sure to wear the appropriate clothing (Ghostbusters 2) and to always carry two thumbs and a positive attitude.
Brian would not let a broken wrist slow him down. He served the volleyball with one-armed. He would toss the ball up in the air, and then hit it overhand with the cast-less arm. You gotta love this kid's spirit.
To formulate a winning team, you would not want three kids on your front line in volleyball. But at Afterglow, it works because it is an entirely different format. Even the young'ns here get their opportunity to shine for all to see.
When you are around me, you have to be aware that a camera is always present. That having been said, Rose should have expected something like this to happen.
