Afterglow 2004 - Day 6
We found this huge raft sitting on the beach, and naturally we all piled on top of it. With all of us (myself, Brian, Tommy and Kevin) on it, it really didn't move because it was scrapping on the bottom of the lake. Since we couldn't float or move anywhere, we just kind of laid there for a while.
There's not too much more that I can say about hitting rocks. What could you possibly say that would outdo launching rocks into the water with an oversized plastic bat? Needless to say, the week pretty much took a massive downfall at this point, which is exactly what my camera decided to also do at this point.
My camera decided that it had had enough of vacation, and shut down until we got home, where it was decommissioned and sent of to meet it's maker. Thankfully, the Best Buy warranty I purchased actually covered this sort of thing, and after a month me and my camera connected like James' bat and these rocks. (And you thought I wasn't going to talk about this picture...)
Now I've got you wondering. 'If my camera broke, how was I able to take this fabulous picture of the McKissick family? Magic. But seriously, this picture was taken earlier in the day (when they were using our dock and I was trying to sleep. I awoke to these guys in my backyard.) I put it here so that it connects with day 7 - family picture time.
