One of our favorite Afterglow activities is basketball because my brother James is awesome (compared to everyone else there) and it's exciting to be on his team and to play against him. The latter is great because the chance to beat the master at the game has fascinated mankind since the dawn of our times. I don't think that I played that morning, for I was too busy sleeping, on account of my drinking escapade the night before. But Gary (the guy in the maroon shirt) was able to crawl out of bed to challenge cabins 2-12 in Afterglow basketball.

Brian (right) had to ride the pine because of his broken wrist. Kevin (left) took a seat because he is better suited at playing guitar, skateboarding, and being the # 1 visitor to a friend's website.

James was absent from this morning's activities (he must have been golfing) so Gary (left) and Matt (right) were the stars of the game, so it was fitting that they would match up against each other.

Gary is displaying the clueless look that he does all too well. Tommy tried to copy him, but came off as merely an offbeat impersonator

It's a surprise that Mark was out of bed this early (he likes to sleep in.) The bigger surprise was that he was awake and doing an athletic workout.
